space is conflict. our perception and our conscious are irrevocably intertwined in their separation. my practice has been centred around an investigation into this contradiction. through video and installation, we encounter the marginal, the outmoded, the derelict, the isolated, the poetic. the cascade of anachronism sings in a register we cannot fully hear. de-familiarization makes strange that which was always strange. space is foreign. forgotten places bear strange fruit.
